How do collaborations get started on the platform?

Starting a collaboration on JustCollabs is straightforward:

1. Browse & Discover (Verified Users): If you're verified, use the Performers page or Roles page (both accessible from the bottom navigation bar) to find creators who match your interests. You can filter by location, specific attributes, and more.

2. Review Profiles: Tap on a creator's card to view their full profile. Check out their bio, linked platforms, Bluesky gallery, travel plans, and collaboration preferences.

3. Initiate Contact:

   If you're both verified: You can directly send them a chat message to start a conversation.

   If either of you isn't verified yet: You'll need to send a DM request first. This involves:

   • Writing a message introducing yourself (up to 1000 characters)
   • Verifying your identity by connecting your Twitter (X) or Bluesky account
   • Optionally sharing your location

   The other person will receive your request in their Requests tab and can choose to accept or decline it. If they accept, you'll both be able to view each other's full profiles and chat freely.

4. Chat & Plan: Once you have chat access (via the Messages tab in the bottom navigation), you can discuss collaboration details — concepts, dates, locations, compensation (if applicable), and any other important specifics.

5. Connect: You can also send a connection request to build your professional network on the platform. Manage your connections in Settings > Connections.

This approach keeps things simple while ensuring that all interactions are consensual and professional.
