How do privacy settings work?
Go to Settings → Privacy to control what appears on your public profile at justcollabs.com/{nickname}.
Two visibility tiers
Each profile field can be shown to two different audiences independently:
- Public — anyone who visits your profile, including people who don't have a JustCollabs account
- Verified — only logged-in creators who have completed verification
You can toggle each tier on or off per field, so you can share more with verified creators while keeping your profile more minimal to the general public.
What is always visible
These fields are always shown to everyone and cannot be hidden:
- Nickname and avatar
- Roles
- Bio
- Follower reach (social media counts)
- Social links (X / Bluesky handles)
- Content platform links
- Bluesky media feed
What you can control
| Field | Public default | Verified default |
|---|---|---|
| Location (home base) | Hidden | Visible |
| Connections count | Hidden | Visible |
| Travel plans | Hidden | Visible |
| Age | Hidden | Hidden |
| Gender | Hidden | Hidden |
Location, connections, and travel plans must stay visible to verified creators for JustCollabs features to work properly, but you can hide them from the general public.
Hidden fields show placeholders
When a field is hidden, visitors see a blurred placeholder rather than a blank space. This lets them know information exists — they just need to be a verified creator to see it.
Homepage featuring
At the top of the Privacy Settings page there is a "Allow homepage featuring" toggle. When enabled, your profile may appear in featured spots on the JustCollabs homepage. It is on by default.
