How do DM requests work?

DM requests are how you connect with other creators on JustCollabs. They ensure both parties agree to chat before any conversation starts.

How It Works​

  1. Send a DM request to a creator you'd like to connect with — include a short introduction message and verify your identity with Twitter (X) or Bluesky
  2. The creator reviews your request in their Requests tab and decides whether to accept or decline
  3. If accepted, you can both chat freely through the Messages tab

Who Can Send DM Requests?​

Only verified users can send DM requests. Unverified users cannot initiate DM requests, but they can receive and accept them. If a verified user reaches out to you first, you can chat with them regardless of your verification status.

Can I Send DM Requests Without an Account?​

Yes — you can send a DM request as a guest by visiting a creator's public profile at justcollabs.com/{nickname}. You'll need to verify your identity with Twitter or Bluesky. If the creator accepts, you'll be prompted to create an account to start chatting.
